Service categories

Use Categories to create and manage the service groupings that organise your bookable services in the online booking portal.

✅ What you can do


  • Add single or group service categories
  • Edit and activate/deactivate categories
  • Enable or disable categories on the booking portal
  • Link directly to the booking portal for a specific category


🧭 Open Categories


  1. Click Booking SystemCategories.
  • The categories list opens, showing all active categories.
  • Search by category name using the search bar.
  • Filter by Active/Inactive using the dropdown.

➕ Add a category


  1. Click Booking SystemCategories.
  2. Click the +Add button in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the Category Name.
  4. Select the Type of Booking:
  • Single — creates a single service category
  • Group — creates a group service category
  1. Click Submit.

⚙️ Manage categories


From the categories list you can:

How to do it

Edit

Click the Edit icon to update the category name or type

Activate/Inactivate

Click the toggle to enable or disable a category

Share

Click the Share icon to open the booking portal filtered to that category

Enable/Disable on portal

Toggle on/off to show or hide the category in the booking portal
