What your notifications mean

Every notification MERIDIQ sends falls into one of five families. Use this page to work out what a notification is telling you and what — if anything — you need to do about it.

📍 Where to find this: Click the bell icon 🔔 in the top-right corner, or open the full Notifications page

ℹ️ Notification wording is saved in your clinic's language at the moment the notification is created. If your clinic works in Swedish, your notifications appear in Swedish — the English wording below is for reference, so match on the situation rather than the exact words.

✅ What you can do

  • Recognise each type of notification at a glance
  • Know which notifications need action and which are just confirmation
  • Understand why a notification arrived for you rather than a colleague

📦 File exports

Exporting client data or QMS records runs in the background, so MERIDIQ tells you twice — once when it starts, once when the file is ready.

Notification

What it means

What to do

File generating

Your export has started. Large exports take a while.

Nothing — carry on working.

File ready: (client name)

A single client's export is ready.

Click the link in the notification to download.

File ready: (clinic name) part X of Y

A full client export is ready, split into parts.

Download every part — each is a separate notification.

File ready: (clinic name) QMS Zip

Your QMS export is ready.

Click the link to download.

File ready: (clinic name) QMS Documents Zip

Your QMS documents export is ready.

Click the link to download.

File ready: (clinic name) QMS Medical Devices Zip

Your medical devices export is ready.

Click the link to download.

⚠️ Download links expire — after 24 hours for QMS documents and medical devices, and 72 hours for full client exports. Once expired, request the export again from where you started it.

ℹ️ QMS export notifications go to the user whose email address matches the clinic's email address, which is not always the person who requested the export.

💬 SMS problems

These are the notifications that most often need you to act.

Notification

What it means

What to do

SMS could not be sentSMS to (name) failed

One message to one client failed, usually a wrong or missing mobile number.

Open the client from the notification and correct the number.

SMS could not be sentInsufficient SMS credits

An automatic SMS was not sent because your balance ran out.

Top up under Settings & configuration → SMS & video credits.

Some campaign SMS were not sent

A marketing campaign skipped recipients with invalid or missing numbers.

Open SMS marketing to see the campaign, then fix those clients' numbers.

SMS could not be senta batch could not be sent

A whole batch failed. The credits were refunded automatically.

Check your balance, then send again.

ℹ️ SMS failure notifications are grouped: you receive one notification per problem per day, not one per failed message. A campaign with 200 bad numbers produces a single notification.

ℹ️ If MERIDIQ cannot tie the failure to one person, the notification goes to every admin in the clinic instead.

📧 Client responses

Nothing required — follow up if the offer needs booking.

💳 Payments & POS

Notification

What it means

What to do

Viva Wallet Account Connected

Your Viva Wallet account is now linked to your clinic.

You can start taking payments through the POS System.

ℹ️ This one usually arrives as a popup rather than only in the bell.

📣 Announcements from MERIDIQ

MERIDIQ sends occasional announcements about new features, maintenance and service news. They have no fixed wording, and some arrive as a popup when you sign in.

ℹ️ Announcements are informational. There is never an action you must take.

❓ What MERIDIQ does not notify you about

Bookings, client registrations and signed consent forms do not produce bell notifications. Those are sent as email or SMS to the client, and to your staff where you have enabled it.

💡 Notification types cannot be turned on or off, and notifications are never deleted — only marked as read. For how to browse, filter and dismiss them, see Notifications & alerts.
