When your account is read-only or blocked

When a subscription payment fails several times, MERIDIQ limits the account. It happens in two stages, read-only first and blocked after that. In both cases the way back is the same: contact support and we reactivate the account for you.

📍 Where to find this: You see this as a message when you sign in at app.meridiq.com

✅ What you can do

  • Recognise which of the two states your account is in
  • Understand what your clinic can and cannot do in each one
  • Get the account reactivated

👁️ Read-only

After several failed payment attempts the account becomes read-only. You can still sign in and look at everything, but nothing can be saved.

You see the message Read Only, followed by This account is in read-only mode, please update your payment details and pay the outstanding balance to gain access.

In read-only you cannot create or edit records, take bookings, or register a payment. Existing information stays exactly as it is.

🔒 Blocked

If the payments keep failing, the account is blocked. Everyone at the clinic is signed out, and signing in again is refused with Your account is blocked, contact support@meridiq.com to get access.

⚠️ Your client-facing pages stop as well. While the account is read-only or blocked, your Registration Portal and your online Booking Portal are switched off, so clients cannot register or book with you. This is the part clinics notice last and it affects your bookings straight away.

🔑 Getting the account reactivated

E-mail support@meridiq.com and tell us the clinic name. Support settles the outstanding balance with you and reactivates the account.

ℹ️ Contact support for both states. Read-only and blocked are handled the same way, and neither one clears by itself.

ℹ️ Once the account is reactivated everything returns as it was. No records, bookings or client data are removed while an account is limited.

💡 To keep this from happening, check the card on file under General SettingsBilling whenever your card is replaced or reissued. A card that has expired is the most common cause. See Billing & subscription.
