QMS overview

The QMS (Quality Management System) is where your clinic keeps its quality documentation and its medical device register — signed documents with a full version history, and devices with their manuals, supplier agreements and maintenance records.

📍 Where to find this: Left navigation menu → Quality Mgmt. System

🧭 How to access QMS

  1. Click Quality Mgmt. System in the left navigation menu.
  2. Choose Document & Reports or Medical Device.

QMS menu

⚠️ QMS is a paid add-on and has to be switched on for you personally. If you cannot see it in the menu, an administrator must enable QMS for your user under General Settings → Team. If your clinic has no QMS plan, you are taken to the upgrade page instead.

✅ What's in QMS

#

Page

What it covers

1

Document & Reports

Create signed quality documents, keep every version, and export them

2

Medical Device

Register devices with manuals and supplier agreements, and log maintenance

ℹ️ Both pages work the same way: a list you can filter by All, Active or Inactive, an Export button that builds a ZIP, and a log of every change.

🗂️ Active and inactive records

Nothing in QMS is ever permanently deleted. Switching a document or device to Inactive hides it from the default list, and you can switch it back to Active at any time.

ℹ️ Inactive records are still included in ZIP exports — an export is a complete archive, not a snapshot of what is currently active.

💡 Click either page in the table above to get started.
