MAL settings
Manage your MAL Online account settings — update your profile information, configure system preferences and change your password.
✅ What you can do
- Update your personal profile information
- Configure email notifications, 2FA and prescription fees
- Change your account password
⚙️ Open Settings
- Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
- The Settings page opens with three tabs: Profile Information, System Settings and Change Password.
👤 Profile Information tab
- Click Settings → click Profile Information.
- Enter or update your personal information.
- (optional) Click Licence Agreement to view the terms of use.
- Click Save to apply the changes — they are reflected across the platform immediately.
🔧 System Settings tab
- Click Settings → click System Settings.
- Configure the following options as needed:
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Receive email notification | Toggle email notifications on or off |
Receive email reports on | Enter an email address to receive daily reports |
2FA Authentication | Toggle two-factor authentication on or off |
Prescription Default Fees | Set your default fee charged to connected clinics |
Language | Select your preferred system language |
Theme | Switch between light and dark themes |
- Click Submit to save all changes.
🔑 Change Password tab
- Click Settings → click Change Password.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter a New Password.
- Re-enter the New Password to confirm.
- Click Update to save the new password.
- (optional) Click Cancel to discard changes.
