# SMS & video credits

Manage your SMS and video call credits — buy credit packages, set up auto-renewal, configure your SMS Sender ID and view invoices.

## 🔐 Verify to use SMS

1. Click **General Settings** → **SMS/Video Credits** → click **Verify to use SMS**.

2. Confirm your mobile number and click **Send OTP** — enter the code you receive.

|| ℹ️ You must verify your mobile number before buying SMS credits or starting video calls.

## 💳 1. Credits — Buy SMS credits

* **1 credit = 1 SMS** or **5 minutes of video call** (interchangeable)

1. Navigate to the **Credits** section → click **Buy Credits**.
2. Select a credit plan → click **Buy** → select your card → click **Buy**.

### What a credit package costs

Three packages are available. The larger the package, the lower the price per SMS.

That works out per SMS at:

|| ℹ️ **You do not choose the currency.** Meridiq bills credits in the currency registered for your
|| clinic, and the Buy Credits window shows only that one — the line **Transaction will be charged in**
|| at the bottom confirms which. Buying credits is a one-off purchase, not a subscription.

## 🔄 2. Auto Renewal

Auto-renewal tops up credits automatically when they fall below 25.

1. Navigate to **Auto Renewal** → click **Set Auto Renewal** → select a plan → select your card.
2. Click **Manage Cards** to update your card. Click **Disable** to turn off auto top-ups.

## 📛 3. SMS Sender ID

1. Navigate to **SMS Sender ID** → enter a **Sender ID** (letters/numbers, max 11 chars) → click **Save**.

## 🧾 4. Invoices

1. Navigate to **Invoices** — each purchase and auto-renewal generates an invoice.
2. Click **Download** to save any invoice.
