# Create an SMS marketing campaign

SMS marketing lets you send one text message to a whole group of clients at once — useful for promotions, seasonal offers and win-back campaigns.

## ✅ What you can do

- See every campaign you have sent and the credits it used
- Build a recipient group from a ready-made template
- Write a custom message, or start from an SMS template
- Insert client details, such as a first name, into the message
- Check exactly which clients a campaign reached
- See how many messages failed to deliver

## 📊 Understand the campaign list

| Column | What it means |
| ---- |
| Date and time | When the campaign was sent |
| Name of message | The campaign name you gave it |
| Send to | How many clients received it |
| Credit used | SMS credits the campaign consumed |
| Failed | Messages that could not be delivered |

## 💬 Send an SMS campaign

1. Click **Communication → SMS** in the left navigation menu.
2. Click **Send SMS**.
3. On **Select Template**, choose the type of message, which decides who receives it.

| Template | Who receives it |
| ---- |
| **Custom** | A message you configure yourself |
| **New Clients** | Clients who joined in the last 30 days |
| **Birthday Offer** | Sent 24 hours before a client's birthday |
| **Booking Service** | Clients who last booked a service more than 3 months ago |

4. *(optional)* Adjust the time range for the template you picked, such as the number of days or months.
5. *(optional)* Select an **SMS template** to pre-fill the text.
6. Write your message in the **SMS text** field.
7. *(optional)* Use **Insert value** to drop client details, such as a first name, into the message.
8. Check your **available credits** and the credits this campaign will use.
9. Click **Send**.

|| ℹ️ The recipient count and the credit cost are both shown before you send, so you can confirm the size of the campaign first.

## 🔍 See who received a campaign

1. Click the **Eye** icon in the Actions column next to a campaign.
2. Open the **client list** to see every recipient.

## 💳 If you run out of credits

If your balance is too low, MERIDIQ warns you before sending and offers a **Buy credits** link.

1. Go to **General Settings → SMS/Video Credits**.
2. Buy the credits you need.
3. Return to **Communication → SMS** and send your campaign.

||| ⚠️ Your clinic must be verified before it can send SMS at all. If SMS is not yet enabled for you, go to **General Settings → SMS/Video Credits** to complete verification.
